Remains of the original Red River Bridge at Alexandria         
Here is a shot of the remains of the western approach to the original Red River Bridge in Alexandria. The bridge was built in 1901 by the Louisiana Railway and Navigation Company, which was later merged with the L&A and later KCS. The picture was taken from where teh old KCS depot was located.
