Rail Link 241 sits idle at the Port of Galveston
A viewer, Dick Knoll, pointed out that the unit is a 1200 HP SW7 built some time between 1949-51. It could have possibly came from Rail Link's switching operation in Stuttgart, AR at some point.

Dick Knoll General I believe this engine came from Rail Link Industrial Switching Operation, Stuttgart, AR. It is an SW7 unit of 1200 HP made between 1949 and 51 but beyond that, can't give you much more info on the unit. 11/20/2011 11:56:03 AM
Brian Binkley General Thanks for the info Dick. I'll update the description with the info. 11/20/2011 12:03:31 PM
